After what was an amazing wedding weekend, we got back into San Fran in the late afternoon and headed back to James' apartment. We texted Jeremyto figure out where all the best places are for dinner, and decided on Liholiho for tonight. As you can imagine the food was unbelievable! We got a beef tongue bun thing, scallops with pork belly, and a huge short rib with twice baked potato in bone marrow. Then we obviously decided to order the house made spam fried rice because we needed leftovers. To round it out, we shared a fernet with the banana cream pastry.

We were pleased to have Alex Nuechterlein join us for a beer while we were waiting for our stop at the bar to open up. So excited to spend some more time with him tomorrow. He’s busy working during the day, but he’s hosting us for dinner at his house tomorrow evening!

Needless to say, it was a great welcome back to SF. Tomorrow we’re going to meet up with Jeremy for a day of more food and hanging in the sunshine.
